Free Vehicle Steering Wheel Locks

Certain Hyundai and Kia models continue to be the most often stolen vehicles in our area. The SHPD is a member of a Task Force of officers from most Dane County law enforcement agencies that works to prevent auto theft, to recover stolen vehicles, and to hold those accountable who choose to engage in auto theft. The Task Force received a shipment of steering wheel locks from Hyundai Motors. The SHPD will provide these for free to residents who own high-theft vehicles and are unable to keep those vehicles secure in a garage. Let us know if you need one!
